The weight of this piece is abt. 10 kgs (abt. 22 lbs.) a little less than that of an original piece. There is glass fitted to all the viewing ports.
The front port can be opened.
The inscription on the brass plate is as follows:

The helmet can well be worn if some rough edges on the inside are smoothed.
A padded cap would be advisable too.
